Bicentennial Fellowship Program

Funds for partial suport of Phi Beta Kappa Fellowship program. ABSTRACT: Funds for partial support of Phi Beta Kappa Fellowship program. Phi Beta Kappa plans to publish series of books by distinguished authors on "Man Thinking in America" to appear before or during 1976, the bicentennial year of the society's founding. Fellowships will be in the amount of $25000 plus any royalities resulting from sales, an amount large enough to attract the most distinguished persons. Each will be expected to produce one in a series of books of broad scope dealing with the crisis of our time, and in particular, with the responsibilities of the intellectual in that crisis.
