Massachusetts Moments: A Radio Almanac
Research and writing of "Mass Moments," a collection of 365 stories from Massachusetts history for daily broadcast on radio stations across the state, with additional information provided on a "Mass Moments" website.
The Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities will produce "Mass Moments"—365 stories from Massachusetts history—for daily broadcast on radio stations across the state. The 60-sec spots will be written to attract a wide range of listeners. They will be read and mixed by experienced radio professionals. Some stories have national significance; others are important primarily in the history of the Bay State. The Internet will be used to provide greater depth. A website will be created with scripts, primary sources, images, maps, timelines, links, and an archive.
