HITS / MOMS

To support the statewide presentation of the "Barn Again!" exhibition and complementary programming, and the Humanities in the Schools annual grantline that will strength the teaching, study, and understanding of American history.

Two projects will be funded through this grant. 1. Humanities in Schools, is an annual granting program supporting content-based summer institutes, seminars and other professional development opportunities for Connecticut teachers K-12. With We the People funds special emphasis is placed on projects that engage teachers in the study and discussion of the defining themes, institutions and personalities of the American past. 2. The Connecticut Humanities Council will provide coordination and support for the statewide presentation of the 2005 Museums on Main Street exhibition, Barn Again.
