We the People of Tennessee--Stories of Land & Place
To support the digitization and documentation of stories of land and place in six communities across the state which will allow these communities to develop and share programs that explore community life; web-based and live programming conducted by the Council to support and expand community programming, including a speakers bureau and a special series at the Southern Festival of Books.
A continuation of our 2004 WTP project, this project supports the digitization and documentation of stories of land and place in 6 communities statewide, creating a database of narratives that communities can use to develop web-based or other programs that explore community life. We will conduct web-based and live programming statewide to unify the work of our partnering communities, including on-going web events, a speakers bureau, and a special series at the Southern Festival of Books.
