We the People in Virginia
The study and public dissemination of Virginia history and culture by means of media and the Center for the Book, especially of those peoples whose contributions have not been sufficiently recognized. Support includes an award of a residential fellowship in Virginia history.
The Virginia Foundation for the Humanities will use funds for "We the People in Virginia" for its Grants and Public Programs, Center for the Book, Media, and Research programs. All of these programs conduct work that reaches Virginia audiences and beyond and that engages these audiences in discussions about who we are as Virginians, Americans, and human beings.
