Finding Home: Wisconsin's People and the Land
Launching a new initiative, this WTP grant will support humanities-based conferences, lectures, K-12 curriculum development, web discussions, newspaper articles, and sessions at the 2008 Wisconsin Book Festival on the theme of the state's conservation heritage.
“Finding Home: Wisconsin's People and the Land” will celebrate Wisconsin’s rich conservation heritage, explore its storied environmental history, and examine the literary, historical, philosophical and spiritual dimensions of the Midwestern and North American landscapes.
