online and media projects that will attract young people, the key components of which are "Connecticut History Online"--the digitization of Connecticut historical materials, a series of documentaries on Connecticut history, the "Encyclopedia of Connecticut History Online," and "Picturing America" programming.
“Connecticut’s Heritage ECHOsystem” is a $2.25 million, initiative designed to foster a greater appreciation of the nation’s past through: the digitization of CT’s most significant public records and other primary materials, the inclusion of CHC-produced historical media resources, the creation of a CT-based curriculum built around the major themes of our past currently taught in the U.S. History curriculum: all seamlessly integrated in a massive new online encyclopedia of CT history.
