Restoration of an historic library and construction of a new education wing to complete the Ogden Museum of Southern Art's three-building complex. The Challenge Grant is to provide funds to complete the restoration and adaptive renovation of the historic H. H. Richardson designed library (now called the Patrick F. Taylor Library) and the adjoining Clementine Hunter Education Wing. These two buildings will complete the three building museum complex which celebrates the art and culture of the American South.
