The Next Stage Campaign
Endowment to enhance humanities-related audience enrichment and educational programming.
Arena Stage's Next Stage Campaign is a major fundraising campaign with significant artistic, operational, and community building components, the most notable of which is the renovation and expansion of the theater's existing facilities. The Campaign also includes a $5 million endowment component. The proposed endowment grant will support enhancements to Arena's humanities-related audience enrichment (scholars for symposia, Think Tanks, publications) and educational programming (assessment tools, education staff, and new play competition). By establishing an endowment to support sustained humanities programming, a Challenge Grant will position Arena Stage as a national center for discourse on theater and the humanities.
