Education Endowment - Special Initiative for Local History
Endowment for the position of Education Coordinator.
Historic Northampton is seeking a NEH Special Initiative for Local History grant in the amount of $100,000. The grant will provide the foundation for a sustainable outreach and education program by enabling the museum to establish an endowment to fund an education coordinator position, and to build a solid record of humanities program development. The grant will be matched by $100,000 in non-federal support secured through private donations and local foundation grants. In anticipation of applying for this grant, the museum has already secured $28,000 in matching pledges.
