Presidents and the Constiution
The development of a two-volume print resource and a website for high school teachers on issues of the constitutional powers and responsibilities that pertain to the American presidency.
In response to strong teacher demand, the Bill of Rights Institute proposes to develop the Presidents and the Constitution teacher resource books, posters, and Web-based component to bring a complete study of the Presidents into the classroom. The resource books will give students the opportunity to analyze the actions of Presidents in light of the Constitution, and enable them to see how abstract constitutional principles have applied in numerous situations in history.
