Three Symposia at the Washington Shakespeare Theatre
Three one-day interdisciplinary symposia at the Washington Shakespeare Theatre in coordination with the company's upcoming productions of Merchant of Venice, Cymbeline, and Candide. The project explores the intellectual, historical, cultural, and political themes occasioned by each play and features leading figures from the Washington theater community, as well as nationally renowned scholars, artists and journalists.
