Program to improve instruction dealing with the American Negro

To set up two 5-day Institutes, in both the summer of 1978 and in 1979 to discuss the problems of social change in India, China and Japan. 30 undergraduate faculty will be selected for each conference, which will be staffed of 6 specialists—2 in each of the fields of study- and 4 visiting lecturers. Institute results will be published by AASCU and disseminated to its 325 member institution. Results also be incorporated into future AASCU workshops.
