HUMANITIES DIVISION LIBERAL ARTS STUDIES CURRICULUM
To expand two required interdisciplinary humanities courses to reflect the "essentials" of Western culture, as determined by both faculty and members of the Business Consultants Advisory Board. Topics of Western culture will be related to African- American, Hispanic, Asian and West Indian cultural equivalents where possible, an order to aid assimilation. The primary goal is to equip MEC students with a basic understanding of the broader cultural context of their community.
