Aging: New Perspectives in Introductory Courses in the Humanities
To sensitize college humanities faculty to concerns on aging; to introduce themes and emphases on aging into the Introductory humanities curriculum to increase student awareness of the positive aspects of aging; to dispel negative attitudes toward aging among student population. Seminars, field trips, team teaching, films, and role-playing will be reaching strategies. Faculty is drawn from Art, Literature, Classics, History, American Studies, and Music areas.
