American Cultural Dilemma: Present, Past and Futute
The departments of Social Sciences, Language and Literature, Humanities Speech and Theatre, Developmental Studies, General Education, and Natural Sciences will develop an interdisciplinary program around the theme of "The American Cultural Dilemma: Present, Past, and Future" at Shelby State Community College. This program will accomplish a major goal of the institution by developing interdisciplinary options to the Core Curriculum. Goal is to promote more meaningful interaction between all departments, thereby strengthening the quality of instruction and increasing student awareness of the interrelationships between disciplines. 15 courses for the entire academic year will be offered for 120 students.
