ADOLESCENTS, MUSEUMS, AND THE HISTORICAL IMAGINATION
To develop integrated museum and classroom programs in historical studies for high school students. Program will address needs and resources of both school and museum and will focus on the state of history in schools, the adolescent as learner, effective use of Sturbridge Village as an outdoor museum and institutional needs of American high schools for new perspectives in curriculum. Program will be designed by a team composed of students, classroom teachers and museum staff. Seminars will be conducted and a final report will be disseminated.
