Museum-in-the-School: Antibellum Themes as Humanities Curriculum for Urban Children
To support a museum-in-the-school project to develop antebellum history into a curriculum for urban children. The roles of women and family life will be examined, using transportation, immigration and industrialization in the three decades before the Civil War as basic themes.
