Televised Models of Teaching Writing
To generate 10 color videocassette programs demonstrating practical models of teaching writing. The 10 programs, supplemented by 2 more tapes produced elsewhere, will be distributed along with printed Teacher Packets to teacher workshops in Fairfax County, VA. They will also be disseminated by the Bay Area Writing Project to 50 national workshop sites. Programs: 9 writing classes at various levels: 1 model demonstration lesson; 1 creative writing workshop; and 1 summer writing institute. Participants: professional staff of 30, approximately 200 students (primary – university).
