Kaw language documentation project.
The Kaw Language Documentation Project has as its goal the full documentation, preservation, and dissemination of the Kaw (Kansa/Siouan) language in distinct, technical linguistic and practical forms that will serve both the scientific and Native American communities. (Application is being made through the tribe, not the applicant's current university affiliation from which he is retiring in May, 2005.)
