Traditional English Woodworking Crafts

To study the traditional woodworking crafts of England; their evolution and development; their tools and techniques; their traditions; and the life-ways of the craftsmen. A search for the understanding of the relationship between English woodworking traditions and the development of early American woodworking and industrialization is included in the study.
