The Linguistic-Psychological Development of Children of Ethnic Minorities

To conduct a study of the linguistic-psychological orientation of three specific groups of children: Black, Choctaw and rural White. The linguistic-psychological differences between ethnic minorities and the middle-class establishment are the main source of the learning difficulties disproportionate numbers of children of ethnic minorities have in traditional schools, but too few studies have been made of the difference to design appropriate educational curricula.
