Legal Documents as a Sources for the Social and Economic History of Late Medieval England

To continue research into the English legal tradition in the middle ages. The kinds of crimes, social and economic background of the accused, types of defenses used, will yield information about the status of people in cart, possible prejudices of the judges and other social material relevant to the study of the period.
