The Rhetoric of Romanticism
To examine texts in English, German and French romanticism, emphasizing theory and practice of figural language that characterizes the period. Romantic style will be studied in conjunction with the theoretical assumptions about the specificity of literary language. This approach leads to a reinterpretation of romantic texts.
