The Emerging Impact of the Awareness of Religious Traditions Older than Biblical and Classical Upon the Study...

To study the teaching of the "origins" of civilization in general and our western forms in particular. Study will result in a more-updated awareness of the field of the history of religions, and to the methods of the social sciences, such as anthropology. Study would also involve the problems of the origins of urban or civilized religion, by using the data from Egyptian, Mesopotamian, and biblical religions, in order to gain perspective on the great transition in human life style which civilization accomplished.
