Comparative Perspectives on the History of the Slavery and Race Relations in USA

A seminar for college teachers with a strong interest in black history, the history of race relations in the United States and/or Southern history. The purpose of the seminar is to give participants a solid grounding in the comparative approach so that they can make greater use of cross-cultural perspective in their teaching of American history.
