Studies in the Theory of Literary Symbolism, "Symbolic Form," and Myth

To work on a book tentatively titled The Philosophy of Literary Symbolism which will be a series of interrelated essays on philosophers, critics, and writers who have contributed to a "philosophy of literary symbolism." This study lies at the center of an understanding of post-romantic thought about literature and its cultural functions.
