Thomas Jefferson and the American Revolution

To investigate the meaning that Thomas Jefferson attached to the American Revolution at the time of his participation in the event. This is part of a larger study, already underway, to clarify Jefferson's idea of revolution and to provide some insight into what Americans in general thought to be the meaning of their revolution.
