History of Newgate Prison

To do research on Newgate Prison in East Granby, Connecticut, a place of confinement for Tories and American soldiers convicted of miliatry offense during the Revolutionary War. This study is part of a larger project in preparation for writing the first history of East Granby, to be published in 1976 as part of the town's participation in the Bi-Centennial Celebration.
