Keyboard Music in Rome, c. 1640-1670

To study a group of composers active in Rome during the middle of the 17th century who followed the traditions of Girolamo Frescobaldi (1583-1643). PI will examine records in Roman archives for information on the composers, their activities, and their interactions.
