The Nature and Importance of Properties
During the summer of 2003, I will begin a book-length project on the nature of properties. I aim to provide a unified framework in which to look at a number of traditional philosophical problems connected with properties, including the problems of similarity, causation, consciousness, material objects, and necessity.
