Civil Society and Cinema in Morocco
This project responds to the Bridging Cultures initiative in considering Morocco's modernizing and its movie-making as part of its drive for civil society, as an Islamic nation defining itself as different from the Middle East, and entering a new phase of post-colonial relations with the English-speaking world made accessible through digital technologies and new media.
