A two-week seminar for fifteen high school teachers to study the origins and development of the Constitution's allocation of the war powers.

The School of Politics and Policy of the Claremont Graduate University proposes a two-week seminar for high school history teachers to study the origins and historical development of the Constitution?s allocation of the war powers. The seminar will explore the reasoning behind the separation of powers, particularly as it applies to questions of war and peace, and then go on to study how subsequent experience has both ratified and modified the original rationale.
