DOCUMENTING THE INITIAL COVID-19 OUTBREAK EXPERIENCE IN NASSAU COUNTY

Hiring of two graduate student interns to conduct oral history interviews and research documenting the COVID-19 outbreak in Nassau County, Florida.

The goal of this project will be to document the initial outbreak experience of the Covid-19 pandemic on a local level. This event will impact the entire world and create new realities across all socioeconomic boundaries. It is a global transformative and generational change comparable to the 9/11 tragedy in how we view and experience the world. We feel it is imperative to document as much as possible of this seismic shift while the experiences are fresh and resources are still accessible.
