The Urban Habitat: The City and Beyond

To create a major exhibit area in the Milwaukee Public Museum oriented around urban life from an historical perspective indicating how man reached his present condition. To heighten philosophical and aesthetic awareness of alternatives in choosing future courses of action in relation to natural laws on which ultimately all life depends. The exhibit will lead visitors through a logical progression of exhibit components illustrating the success ion of new realities in the human experience since 20,000 years ago; further illustrating the roots of urbanism as well as alternatives for the future.
