Teaching the Amateur Historian How to Use the Tools and Techniques of the Professional Humanist

Professional humanists will teach the amateur historian the tools and techniques of the professional humanist, through seminar/workshops and field trips in history, historic archaeology, antiques and artifacts architectural history and genealogy. As a. pilot project the program will test whether professional humanists can reach the general public through amateurs already interested and will better acquaint the profession or humanist and layman to establish a dialogue to promote better understanding of mutually interesting issues and problem.
