Humanistic Study of Religion and Secondary Education

To create an awareness of what is being done and what should be done in the areas of teaching about religion in the secondary public school systems of New Jersey within boundaries delineated by the U.S. Constitution and interpretation by the Supreme Court. The influence of religion cannot be ignored for a truly humanistic understanding of other people. Hence studies about religion should be integrated fairly and objectively into the curriculum of every adolescent without intending to promote or inhibit any particular religion.
