An Oral History Project on the Impact of the Oil Industry on a Small Ranching Community in Texas, 1925-1945

To gather oral history of the impact of the arrival of the petroleum industry and accompanying urbanization and economic diversification on a small, rural ranching community. 45 personal interviews will be conducted and a photograph collection assembled. The result will be a media slide presentation and original materials to be deposited in public archives.
