Manifold Greatness: The Creation and Afterlife of the King James Bible

The "Manifold Greatness: The Creation and Afterlife of the King James Bible Project" is a traveling exhibition based upon an exhibition developed by the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C., and the Bodleian Library at Oxford University. The exhibition will give public audiences the opportunity to explore the surprising story of the origins, creation, and impact of the King James Bible, including its influence on English and American literature, and its multifaceted impact on culture and society to the present day. The exhibit will travel to forty public, academic, and special libraries; a planning seminar for librarians and related educational materials support the tour.
