Civility and the American Experience
Form a small advisory group of academics and historians to provide intellectual guidance to the project which includes, hosting a keynote address on leadership and the importance of civility, hosting a one day conference to examine incivility in our nation's past and times when U.S. leaders rose above the partisan fray and worked together to address cirical issues facing the United States, posting videos of the keynote address and conference on the Center's website, and publishing a report of information gathered from the roundtables on the historical lessons of civility and incivility and its implications on the art of governance today.
