Preservation Assessment Plan: Southwest Collection/Special Collections Library
The hiring of a consultant to conduct a preservation assessment of the library's special collections documenting the history and culture of the American Southwest and the history of Texas Tech University. Notable components of the collection include materials on the history of ranching, the music of West Texas, and the papers of natural history writers.
A general preservation assessment of manuscripts, documents, photographs, drawings, maps, books, film, audiovisual media and other vital records related to the history of the American Southwest, and the surrounding areas.
