Post-Doctoral Fellowships at the Center for Jewish History

One twelve-month fellowship a year for three years.

The Center for Jewish History requests a grant of $398,000 to support a program of long-term post-doctoral fellowships. The grant will logically extend its existing pre-doctoral fellowship program for Ph.D. students, which has run successfully since 2002. Fellows will conduct research at the Center, which houses one of the most comprehensive archival and library collections in the world relating to modern Jewish history, American history, and the American immigrant experience. Fellows benefit from extended access with the collections, access to experienced and dedicated professionals, and residency at the foremost Jewish research and cultural institution in the heart of New York City's academic and intellectual life.
