The Ecological History of Ethnic Adaptations in Central Subarctic Canada

To support an interdisciplinary research effort on inter-ethnic relationships in subarctic Canada. The study will focus on the historical, economic and social interactions between Chipewyan and Cree Indians, offspring of Indian- European marriages, and Euro-Canadian workers in the fur trade.
