Empire and Aftermath: Yoshida Shigeru and the Japanese Experience, 1878-1954

To examine the career of Yoshida Shigeru and the Japanese Experience, 1878-1954. The project will address the overall problem of continuities and discontinuities between prewar and postwar Japan.
