Foreign Policy Processes in the United States and Japan, and Their Interaction: An Analytical History

This study is designed to be a history of postwar US-Japanese relations, beginning with immediate prewar efforts to prevent war. It examines in detail the bureaucratic processes in both governments and the domestic politics in each country that have acted to influence the relationship.
