The Martin Luther King, Jr. Papers Project requests funding support for volumes v through vii of a fourteen volume edition of the papers of Martin Luther King, Jr. The project, under the direction of Dr. Clayborne Carson, will publish two volumes, complete the manuscript for a third volume, and continue acquisitions, cataloging, and annotation for two additional volumes during the period of the grant. The edition is being published by the University of California Press.
