Cultural Change in Osage & Missouri Indian Life, 1675-1835

To support a study of the cultural changes in the Missouri and Osage Indian tribes during the period 1675-1825 when contacts with Euro-Americans increased due to the hide and fur trade. The study combines the disciplines of archeology, ethnology, paleoethnobiology, and history.
