Feasibility Study for the Development of a Computerized Research Data Bank in Modern Languages and Literature

To request funds for an analysis of the MLA computer operations currently in use and similar systems which might be adopted in their place, as well as funding for planning the transition from the computer contract arrangement now in effect to an in-house arrangement for MLA.. The result of the funding will eventually aid the MLA to develop its capability to produce marketable cumulations of its material in its data banks and therefore make such computer operations self-sustaining for the MLA.
