No Job For a Woman: The Women Who Fought to Report World War II
Scripting of a one-hour documentary film about the women journalists of World War II.
"'No Job For a Woman': The Women Who Fought to Report World War II" will be the first film to focus on American women's role in reporting World War II. This important chapter in journalism history will show viewers how women, when given the opportunity, covered war on par with their male colleagues and how, when obstacles were put in their path, women surmounted them and developed a new way to cover war. The film will pose the question: did these women reporters plant the seeds of change for how future wars would be reported?
