Abstract: A Mitsqanaqan? Ventureño to English and English to Mitsqanaqan? Ventureño dictionary. The dictionary is a compilation of the words of the Ventureño Chumash language, previously spoken in Southern California. It allows the user to find English translations of Ventureño words, and Ventureño translations of English words. Dictionary entries have example sentences and information about words in other Chumashan languages. Entires also have information about Chumash culture. At the end of the dictionary are lists of Ventureño words organized by meaning (example, terms for basketry).
